DJ Strega

DJ Strega (aka Paola Gladys) is a Los Angeles-based Singer, DJ, Producer  and Visual Artist known for her eclectic sets that blend sensual Funk, Soulful grooves, Afrobeat, House, Italian Disco, Hip-hop/R&B and more. With years of experience performing at clubs, festivals, and all kinds of events, she intuitively tunes into the crowd’s energy and shifts styles to keep the dance floor alive. You can find her spinning weekly at some of LA’s hottest venues. In addition to rocking clubs, she has DJed over 300 private events. Highlight of the year: WeHo LA Pride Parade collab. with Tiffany & Co.

She has collaborated with artists like Justin Brown (Thundercat), Marcus Strickland (Robert Glasper), Jacques Schwarz-Bart (D’Angelo), Ben Williams (Anderson .Paak), Solo Smith (Post Malone), QWALE (Marcus Miller) and Corey Sanchez (Doja Cat) and Lorren Chiodo (Harry Styles) among many notable others.

Her original music weaves lush textures of Soul/Funk, R&B and Electronic influences. Groovy rhythms, soulful vocals, spicy synths and jazz harmonies coexist in the same recipe. For Paola, making music is pure healing - a deep dive into the spiritual realm, that ethereal world   where everybody is free to be. She wants her audiences to feel a sense of freedom, understanding, intimacy, peace and love without judgment. 

After receiving a merit scholarship for Berklee College of Music in Boston, Paola spent 4 years in New York, performing with her band at renowned venues and collaborating with some of the city’s leading contemporary musicians. Currently in LA, she is active in her original project and in a variety of entertainment events, showcasing her versatility as a singer and DJ.

Her artistry has been recognized and celebrated by Keyon Harrold, Butcher Brown, Bigyuki, Braxton Cook, VanJess, Kiefer and more.
